The devil thought he had me!!!! My song of the week comes from the incomparable Tye Tribbett called “He Turned It!”

Listen… this week has been incredible. I am so excited by the amazing responses that I received from my blog and website! I am beyond grateful for all of the love and overwhelming reception. As I started working on this weeks goodies, I was out of nowhere hit with one crazy situation after another! A huge life altering bomb was dropped in my lap that has demanded my immediate and almost full attention. I will share at a later date because, as with all things in my life, God will be glorified! At this present moment however, I’m not so sure how that is going to happen. I am reserving my thoughts and feelings about it until I get more clarity. I am reminded of this though….that what the devil meant for evil, God will most certainly turn it around and use it for good. And for that I am happy! No matter what the outcome, God’s got me!

“He Turned It” is my medicine this week. There’s no way I can listen to this song and feel anything short of praise and excitement! The lyrics are so powerful! It even helps to watch Tye perform this song live (which is why I’m sharing it)…..this man is all over the place. God is so good and sometimes, even without knowing what will happen, it is simply best to praise him anyway. I am very grateful to know Him like I do! My heart is pounding but my feet are planted firmly in His word concerning me. This will be epic and definitely one for the books! Like I said, I’ll fill in the details later. Just pray for me and my family and allow this song to do for you what it has done for me. #wontHedoit

He Turned It – Tye Tribbett

[Verse 1:]
Yes there were times in my life when I thought I
would never make it
I almost went down I was out for the count I was
through
But it was then when I thought it would end that I
stood up again
What hell had for evil God turned it around for
my good

[Bridge:]
The devil thought he (had me)
Thought that my life was (over)
He thought that I would (give up)
He thought that I had (no more)
But that’s when someone (greater)
Stepped in my (situation)
My morning now had (begun)…
HE TURNED IT!

[Verse 2:]
Sometimes I look back and I don’t know how in the
world I made it
All of those nights I would cry my heart so filled
with pain
Worry consumed me my whole life revolved around
fear and stress
I was tired and weak I just could not compete
Anymore
[Bridge:]
The devil thought he (had me)
Thought that my life was (over)
He thought that I would (give up)
He thought that I had (no more)
But that’s when someone (greater)
Stepped in my (situation)
My morning now had (begun)…

HE TURNED IT!
HE TURNED IT!
HE TURNED IT!

[Chorus:]
He turned my mourning into dancing
He turned my sorrows into joy!
He turned my mourning into dancing
He turned my sorrows into joy!

PRAISE Break!

No more crying days
No more hurt and pain
No more guilt and shame
He turned it

No more loneliness
No more fear and stress
No more sadness
He turned it
